Arrived in Rodney Bay Friday 12-16.
As we approached the anchorage we saw
that the boats were rolling wildly in the Northerly swell.
Decided to explore the mooring field in the inner lagoon.
Fabulous, calm.
Surrounded by beautiful homes
and swaying coconut trees.

Rodney Bay was hopping with all the boats
from the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers)
Over 200 boats crossing the Atlantic from the Canaries.

Yes, we'd been having a little generator problem.
Fed Ex to the rescue.
Got a new shut off solenoid flown in.
Installed it. Works!
Phew, back to the celebrations.

We met a nice couple on a nearby boat,
Marcia & Jack (Rights of Man).

Managed to eat lunch ashore on a regular basis.

We were delighted to see an old face from Grenada.
Martin had done some work on Dance Aweigh in Grenada.
He's now crewing on a cat bound for the BVI. Nice guy.

with our new friends, Marcia & Jack.

Oh my, a precious Christmas tree, and what a Happy little Fruit & Veggie Man. Sweet!!! Better than Berta's cart, Marg! Such wonderful memories to keep forever. Man, every scene, day or night is just gorgeous. I enjoyed reading your earlier blogs too. Good move Richard not buying that little punt in the other blog.
